Must haves:
Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program
Licensed by the New York State Department of Health
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Flexibility to work overtime including off-shift duty as needed (evenings and weekends)
C-Arm procedure experience preferred
2 years of experience
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality X-ray examinations ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Operate and calibrate radiographic equipment with strict adherence to protocols.
Demonstrate continuous learning by keeping up-to-date with radiography guidelines.
Identify safety hazards and enforce radiation protection for patients and staff.
Review orders, verify patient identity, and ensure accurate imaging intake.
Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to determine best imaging approach.
Meet daily targets for imaging throughput while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Maintain meticulous imaging records and coding for order fulfillment.
Utilize pipeline-based planning to assess workload and forecast imaging demand.
Provide excellent patient experience through clear communication and empathy.
Assist in continuous improvement projects to optimize imaging workflows.
Maintain on-site readiness, inventory, and proper storage of radiographic supplies.
Experience/Qualifications
Certified radiologic technologist with active state license.
Proficiency in performing diagnostic X-rays with patient safety emphasis.
Strong knowledge of radiation protection for patients and staff.
Experience with radiographic equipment calibration and quality guidelines.
Track and meet daily imaging throughput targets without compromising quality.
Ability to review orders, verify patient identity, and ensure accurate imaging intake.
Collaborative mindset to work with radiologists and clinicians on imaging plans.
Maintain meticulous imaging records and coding for order fulfillment.
Deliver excellent patient experience with clear communication and empathy.
Forecast imaging demand using pipeline-based planning and workload assessment.
