Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented X-Ray Technician to join a healthcare team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiologic procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with all regulatory standards. This opportunity is ideal for both entry-level and experienced professionals looking to grow in a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures
- Operate radiologic imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Ensure patient comfort by explaining procedures and addressing concerns
- Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records
- Review radiographs for quality and make necessary adjustments
- Assist with equipment maintenance and report malfunctions when necessary
- Maintain inventory of radiology supplies and ensure a clean work environment
- Adhere to infection control policies and departmental procedures
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) required
- ARRT Certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of radiation safety practices and diagnostic imaging procedures
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience preferred
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
