X-Ray Technologist

Responsibilities of the X-Ray Technologist:

• Perform high quality radiologic exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's wellbeing during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Assist physicians in pain management procedures using fluoroscopy
• Perform diagnostic x-ray examinations
• Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures

Requirements:

• Radiological Technologist Registration (A.R.R.T.)
• Radiological Technologist License (N.J.S.)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting (orthopedic experience preferred)
