Location: Rockville Centre, NY (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract/Part-Time - Per Diem Fridays 08:00am-04:30pm
Compensation:
Pay Range: $40.00 Per HR
Description:
• We are seeking a dedicated professional to perform radiographic diagnostic imaging procedures.
• This contract position is based in Rockville Centre, NY, with a requirement for per diem work on Fridays.
• The role involves assisting physicians with diagnostic imaging and ensuring optimal patient care using safe and efficient processes.
Requirements:
• Experience in performing radiographic diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Familiarity with fluoro guided injections and assisting physicians during procedures.
• Ability to operate radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Knowledge of radiation protection techniques and safety protocols.
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and staff.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Adherence to infection-control policies and protocols.
Qualifications:
• Associates or bachelor's degree in applied radiologic science or certification from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Licensed and registered in the state of New York.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and understanding of radiation safety.
• Experience in patient transfers and positioning techniques.
• Knowledge of fluoroscopic imaging equipment preferred.
