Yard Driver

Job description:

We are hiring a Yard Driver for a 3- 6 month project in Indianapolis IN and Fort Wayne, IN . This project will include OT and per diem. You must have a valid Class A CDL to be eligible for the position. You will be transporting materials on an industrial job site with company truck.

**Pay: **$30-$31/HR (paid weekly) plus per diem of $125/day if not local

Hours: Monday-Friday (10 hour shifts), weekends as needed

Location: Fort Wayne, IN / Indianapolis, IN

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate company truck on job site

- Load and unload materials

- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts

- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures

- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions

Requirements:

- Commercial driving experience (Class A CDL required)

- Ability to operate heavy equipment

- Proficient in manual transmission vehicles

- Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
