Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a 1st Shift opportunity in Lawrenceburg, KY. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and take pride in accuracy, safety, and teamwork.

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in receiving, inspecting, storing, and shipping product while ensuring inventory is handled safely and efficiently. This position requires forklift experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Do

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently

Receive incoming materials and process orders both physically and within inventory systems

Perform quality inspections on incoming and outgoing product

Load and unload trailers while ensuring product is handled properly

Prepare orders according to packing lists and shipping documentation

Verify product information including quantities, grades, shades, and shipment details

Palletize materials according to customer and shipping requirements

Move materials throughout the warehouse and staging areas

Assist with order selection, inventory movement, and shipping preparation

Process returned materials and maintain accurate inventory records

Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous forklift experience required
• Experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution operations preferred
• Ability to work comfortably at elevated heights
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds
• Operating powered industrial equipment throughout the shift
• Working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
• Ability to safely perform work at elevated heights when necessary
