Yard Worker

• Drive hostlers and big rigs to position containers and chassis, backing up under cranes and parking in designated spots.
• Connect and disconnect hitches and air hoses, clipping and unclipping safely on the ground crew.
• Climb up and down rail cars while performing pre- and post-use equipment inspections.
• Maintain clear lines under cranes and coordinate moves with yard personnel and supervisors.

• Valid driver's license (no CDL required) and open availability for swing or night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, climb ladders/stairs on railcars, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols in a strict, high-priority industrial environment.

• Previous outdoor or hands-on experience in landscape, delivery driving, or forklift operation.
• Prior experience in intermodal or rail yard operations.
• Familiarity with container handling equipment such as hostlers, top loaders, side loaders, or cranes.
• Existing CDL or equipment certifications.

This is a direct hire opportunity. The selected candidate will be employed directly by our client.
