Yardperson Needed!

Gpac has surfaced a well respected heavy equipment company looking for a yard person/product support specialist.  This is an entry level position so training will be required.

Duties and responsibilities

•  Prepares equipment for shipment
• Basic Maintenance
• Fuels equipment and ensures proper SMM stickers & registration for equipment
• Checks functions of machinery and proper attachments
• Completes inspection checklist
• Checks fuel level on all equipment after rental returns and on new equipment
• Checks in keys and books for equipment
• Takes photos of all equipment after rental, reports damages
• Reports to sale and service departments
• Maintains yard and roadways
• Keeps all equipment, including buckets & forks organized per planogram for ease of identification and accessibility
• Ensures a safe working environment and promotes a culture of safety.

• Maintenance of hydraulic hoses, leaks, installing buckets, and other attachments

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• One year related experience working with heavy equipment preferred, but not required.  We will train the right person.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
