Keeble Gateway Academy is located in the market town of Thirsk, North Yorkshire. The academy opened in September 2019 and is proud to be part of Elevate Multi Academy Trust.

This role presents an excellent opportunity to join our dedicated team. We are passionate about ensuring our school is a place where children feel safe, happy and valued, and where they are supported to achieve their full potential. Our learning environment is engaging and inspiring, and we have high expectations for our pupils' academic progress as well as their personal, social and emotional development.

We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic class teacher on a part-time basis to work within our team, job sharing with our current Nursery teacher.

We are looking for someone who is dedicated, passionate and hard-working, who enjoys the rewards of working with children, and who shares our values of love, kindness, self-belief and aspiration.

There are two available school visit slots, and we would strongly recommend booking a visit to meet the Headteacher and see our inspiring school site: Tuesday 3rd November at 4.30pm or Friday 6th November at 2pm.

Job Purpose

We are looking for a teacher who is:

• An effective and passionate classroom practitioner with high expectations for all children.
• Caring, inclusive and positive in their approach.
• Passionate about creating enabling and ambitious learning opportunities.
• Able to communicate effectively with all members of the school community.
• Knowledgeable about the curriculum and assessment processes.
• To carry out the duties of a teacher set out in the statutory conditions of employment for teachers as defined in the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document.
