p>Primary Responsibilities: • Drive Strategic undergraduate recruitment for Mines and Metallurgy Academy programs using data-driven insights • Develop and execute targeted communications and digital campaigns to engage prospective students and families • Manage social media presence to increase program visibility and engagement • Represent the programs at college fairs, high school visits, virtual events, and recruitment programs, with occasional travel • Develop and update recruitment materials • Maintain regular and effective communication with department chairs • Plan and support on-and-off-campus recruitment events, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with Academy goals • Utilize Slate and other CRM systems to track prospective student interactions, manage communications, and support data-informed recruitment decisions • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students and families, high school counselors, faculty, and campus and community partners • Support special initiatives and projects for the Mines and Metallurgy Academy and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
The Mines and Metallurgy Academy includes the following departments: Earth Sciences and Engineering, which is home to three undergraduate programs including Geology and Geophysics, Geological Engineering and Petroleum Engineering; Materials Science and Engineering, which is home to Ceramic Engineering and Metallurgical Engineering; Mining and Explosives Engineering; and Nuclear Engineering and Radiation Science.
