Key Responsibilities: • Develop and deploy robust analytical methods to support in-house oligonucleotide synthesis, including novel chemistries and conjugates • Use advanced LC/MS-MS capabilities to fully characterize novel synthetic oligonucleotides and related species in low-and high-throughput settings • Help design and manage key data pipelines • Collaborate internally and externally, representing Oligonucleotide Discovery Analytical Chemistry on project teams • Support analytical investigations, including root cause analysis, in collaboration with cross-functional teams • Participate in hiring, mentoring and training of junior team members, ensuring knowledge transfer and capability development. Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: • A BS degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience or an MS degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience in analytical chemistry or a related discipline (or equivalent) • Two or more years of experience using high-resolution LC/MS(-MS) methodology in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or academic setting • At least one year of experience utilizing modern mass spectrometry data analysis techniques, particularly as applied to biopolymers such as oligonucleotides, proteins, and/or glycans • At least one year of experience in high-resolution LC/MS(-MS) method development and method troubleshooting.
