p>Student workers in the Center for Accessibility Resources are responsible for supporting the staff and students by performing a wide-range of basic clerical/office tasks for this area and for the larger University. Answer phones, take messages, schedule appointments using Outlook, check supplies, filing and general administrative duties as necessary to help keep the office running smoothly and efficiently.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required. Responsible for direct patient contact activities under the supervision of the licensed provider such as patient positioning and transfers, preparation and application of therapeutic modalities, follow through on routine patient exercises or start up on exercise equipment, assisting with crutch walking and gait training.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Operates computer equipment utilizing word processing software to produce a variety of materials including exams, student handouts, faculty lists and handbooks, teacher program forms, narrative reports and general correspondence; maintains general office and college program files. Prepares purchase requisitions for supplies and equipment, reviews invoices and purchase orders to ensure correctness of charges and to verify delivery of ordered items.
