Quick Facts Independent Contractor (PRN) Schedule / Hours: Weekend inpatient coverage one weekend per month; weekday overnight phone call once per month Patient Volume: Adult patients with diverse psychiatric needs Location: Virginia Beach, VA Practice Setting: 100-bed private psychiatric hospital specializing in Adult and Geriatric behavioral health Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary team of trained clinicians, including physicians, clinical staff, and administration Responsibilities Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to adult patients in inpatient and partial hospitalization settings Collaborate effectively with a team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care Manage clinical responsibilities, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up Accurately document all clinical care and patient interactions.
