p>QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications:
- Master of Library Science/Studies degree from an ALA-accredited institution;
- Demonstrated experience providing reference, research, and instructional services in an academic library or educational setting;
- Experience creating and maintaining research guides, instructional materials, or online learning resources;
- Familiarity with library databases, discovery systems, citation management tools, and research methodologies;
- Effective oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to establish priorities, organize work to meet deadlines, complete detailed work, handle multiple tasks, and work effectively with diverse populations;
Desired Qualifications:
- Three or more years of librarian experience in an academic library;
- Experience serving as a liaison librarian to academic departments or programs;
- Experience providing library instruction using electronic resources and learning technologies;
- Experience supporting health sciences, evidence-based practice, or graduate-level research;
- Experience supporting accreditation reviews, program assessments, or curriculum development;
- Experience with collection development and assessment;
- Ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to support teaching, learning, and research;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with faculty, students, administrators, and community partners;
- Strong commitment to student-centered and innovative library services;
- Solid knowledge of emerging technologies, information literacy practices, and current trends in academic libraries;
- Experience with Springshare products, including LibGuides, LibAnswers, and LibCal;
- Experience participating in assessment, outreach, and strategic initiatives.
Job Summary:
Provide reference, research, instructional, and liaison services to support student learning, faculty teaching, and scholarly activity across the university, with primary responsibility for health sciences programs.
