Ensures all credentialing, privileging, and Continuing Medical Education activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with Joint Commission, National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), American Health Care Association (AHCA), State, Federal, Facility Management Association (FMA), Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), and BayCare Health System requirements and actively participates in survey readiness and process. Provides direct leadership to the Medical Staff Services Department team members by monitoring workflow, assigning responsibilities, and working with the BayCare Credentials Verification Office (CVO) by ensuring the timely processing of initial appointments and reappointments of all credentialed providers.
