Qualified candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least two (2) years experience working in a security role in a healthcare setting; candidate must have a current and valid New York State Security Guard Registration Card; must be able to communicate clearly and professionally; must have reliable transportation to travel between Evergreen locations as needed; must display professionalism and emotional control with effective observational and monitoring ability; awareness of and sensitivity to the issues and health disparities faced by underserved populations is essential. The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees by patrolling and monitoring the premises and personnel, and by responding to security issues.
