Location(s):EbensburgRequirements:· Provision of behavioral health services: 2 years (required)· Have a certification as a BCA, BA, or;· Have a certification as a RBT, or;· Have a certification as a BCAT, or;· Have a behavior health certification or behavior analysis certification, or;· Bachelor's Degree or 48 credit hours towards a Bachelor's in Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred· Experience working with children with developmental disabilities· Experience working with children with behavior problems· Excellent communication skills· Must have a passion for working with children with disabilities· Must have reliable transportation Job descriptionThe primary functions of a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) are intended to facilitate the development of social competencies and the overall emotional development of children, youth, and young adults ages 3-21.
