Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding technique Operate and assist with programming or setup of robotic welding arms used in the fabrication process Grinding, cutting, and shaping materials to be fabricated or welded Operates machinery associated with welding and manufacturing of modular buildings Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and performs welds, and maintains welding equipment Maintain inventory, tools, supplies and work area in an organized manner Operate both plasma and flame cutting torch Perform other duties as assigned. Be able to read and understand floor plans and work orders for projects Able to work outside in variable weather conditions Ability to use both manual and power tools Ability to use mathematics to calculate length, width, depth, etc.
