Skills required: barcode scanning med administration, managing medication drips, blood product administration, triage experience required - must pass hospital’s Triage Test before allowed to triage, ability to set up chest tubes, art lines, assist with trauma and code cases, splinting, bipap/vents, good understanding of ESI; pediatric emergency medicine experience is highly preferred, experience with Point of Care Labs is a plus. stroke (administer TNK), cardiac (cath lab), behavioral health and substance use disorder, busiest ED in the state, transfer out (stabilize and ship): neurosurgery, multi-system trauma, high acuity peds patients.
