Key Responsibilities: Key responsibilities of the candidate will be (but aren't limited to):Work with the Operational Community, Development product team and other stakeholders to define and document requirements as User Stories for an Agile development team Analyze existing business processes and documentation and identify opportunities to improve business processes utilizing the technology Assist in managing the Agile Team backlog, working with the customer to prioritize and further develop user stories and tasks for the team to develop Communicate updates and changes to requirements to program leadership Track progress on development against major milestones for development Create and document designs to describe system modules that require modification and new builds based on the requirements Work with developers and SMEs to verify the requirements and design Develop, modify, test, document, deploy, and monitor applications and databases based on the design document Provide support to Scrum team operations Prepare reports and deliverablesQualifications/Requirements: The Candidate must have the ability to think strategically, act tactically, and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Minimum Qualifications: US CitizenPrevious professional experience supporting the U.S. Federal Government, either as a federal employee or contractor, is required 4+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst supporting software development and/or technology modernization Bachelor's degree, OR 4 additional years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree Excellent facilitation, written communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skillsKnowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Experience using collaboration tools in the workplace to develop new work products efficiently Experience working within Agile Development Teams Active Tier 2 background investigation or higher, completed or favorably adjudicated within the previous 18 months.
