The Groundsman must perform and demonstrate proficiency in the following functions with supervision: a) Maintain campus roads, walkways, turf, and landscaped areas by using equipment, tools, materials, and techniques common to the groundsmen trade - including but not limited to mowing, raking, cutting sod, trimming, patching, sweeping, transplanting, digging, trenching, taping, watering, spreading, washing, spraying, shoveling and plowing snow, etc. cement, fertilizer, concrete, construction debris, heavy loads associated with furniture and equipment used in academic facilities, recycled glass, college waste used in academic facilities, recycled glass, college waste materials of all sorts, college supplies, and many other heavy loads.
