Work is partially performed in an environment exposing employees to hazards such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, open flames, heat and hot equipment, sharp objects, or exposure to chemicals or biological hazards. The Laboratory Technician II prepares the kitchen laboratory, classrooms, food truck, and demonstrations in accordance with lesson plans, assists in the troubleshooting of equipment and software to meet the needs of the lesson plan and cleans up after the lesson has concluded.
