  We are seeking Part-time Security Officers for the Portland International Airport.

In retail accounts, work product from store back stock and/or delivery loads; handling cases, bottles and cans of beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages for the purpose of sale or storage. This includes filling and rotating product in cold boxes, on dry shelves, and building and maintaining displays with POS (point of sale) as necessary.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES: Candidates will be evaluated based on application materials, including the supplemental questions and personal interview(s), and will be required to demonstrate competencies in the following areas: Two (2) years' experience or training involving grounds maintenance, gardening, plant care, cultivation, landscape installation, and knowledge of plant material.

The employee is regularly required to stand or sit for moderate periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; balance; bend and reach with hands and arms; use feet to operate foot pedal operation; and talk or hear. About the Position: Transfer and store inventory and supplies via forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts to support production and perform inventory counts and verification activities.

Workers must follow all site safety rules, wear required PPE (hard hat, safety vest, gloves, steel‑toe boots), attend safety briefings, use proper lifting techniques, and report hazards or injuries immediately. Candidates must be comfortable working in varying temperatures and outdoor or industrial environments.

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Must be 18 years of age.* Prefer working knowledge of warehousing, forklift and pallet jack operations, pallet building, and inventory procedures.* Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.* This position requires regular and constant lifting/moving/pulling or pushing of 27-55 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 170 pounds (full beer kegs).*
