Requirements/Responsibilities Server / Waiter / Waitress / Wait staff Requirements & Qualifications: * Food Handlers Card OLCC Certification * Previous serving experience preferred * Excellent oral communication skills required * Positive interpersonal skills required Responsibilities May Include: * Prepare dining room tables by clothing tables, setting up candles, napkins, service plates and utensils * Help guests select food and beverages by presenting menu; offering cocktails; suggesting courses; explaining the chef's specialties; identifying appropriate wines; answering food preparation questions * Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc. Prior experience as server, waiter, waitress, wait staff, runner, foh, front of the house or other FOH part time restaurant job highly desirable.
