The Environmental Services Worker is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the facility, including the following: Cleans the various floor surfaces in the facility, cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms, baths, laboratories, offices, halls, and other areas, maintaining the cleanliness of the external walkways, and distributing linens as well as tracking linens used per department. Individual must be self-directed, must possess good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team atmosphere, have the ability to learn and operate various equipment used in the performance of the duties, have the ability to learn and use a personal computer and appropriate software in the performance of the job duties.
