This position will also take a lead role in the implementation, communication, and interpretation of accounting and financial policies, control and system improvements; supervision of external and internal audit processes and ensuring that proper internal controls are maintained; and providing analytical support to other departments as it relates to accounting issues and driving continuous cost improvements across all aspects of the business. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, all accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, tax, financial and compliance reporting, forecasting, assisting with annual budget, monthly balancing, inventory management, and recording and timely reporting of accounting records/transactions, etc.
