The telemetry unit is supported by a centralized telemetry monitor with a telemetry technician, a resource nurse available at night who floats between units, in-house hospitalists and respiratory therapists, a phlebotomy team, an IV/VAT team for difficult sticks and line placements, and occupational, physical, and speech therapy services available during the week. • Holiday expectations include coverage for summer holidays (2 of 3: Memorial Day, Labor Day, July 4th) and winter holidays (1 from each group: Thanksgiving Day or day after, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, New Year's Eve or New Year's Day).
