SCOPE OF SERVICE: The Environmental Services Department is responsible for meeting the needs of its customers, which include all patient care areas (Med-Surg, ER, OR, outpatient and diagnostic services, doctor's offices, etc.), by providing them with a clean, sanitary and aesthetically pleasing environment while following basic established safety, cleaning and infection control practices. Job consists of but not limited to the following duties: cleaning bathrooms, cleaning sinks in the rooms, dusting, disinfecting and cleaning multiple surfaces in the areas, polishing furnishings, sweeping and mopping the floors, vacuuming carpet.
