Custodians perform cleaning by sweeping, mopping and polishing all tile and linoleum covered flooring, vacuuming and steam cleaning all carpeted areas, dusting and polishing wooden furniture, dusting windows sills, counters, and baseboards, cleaning and disinfecting rooms, tables, and counters, cleaning and disinfecting the kitchen, cleaning and disinfecting restrooms and toilets, restocking paper products and hand soap, removing all trash, cleaning windows and doors, moving chairs, tables, and other furniture for cleaning purposes, and other tasks as assigned. Custodians are tasked with cleaning the childcare facilities, including classrooms, restrooms, breakroom, offices, and other areas.
