Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2-3 years of PACU/Critical Care Experience (adults and pediatrics) License: California RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Pre-op experience Proficiency in monitoring vital signs, level of consciousness, and pain management post-anesthesia Knowledge of administering and titrating medications, including pain management and anesthesia reversal agents Ability to recognize and respond to airway complications Competence in starting and managing IV lines, including administering fluids and medications Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and accurate documentation of patient progress and interventions Experience caring for patients after various major surgeries including but not limited to general, vascular, neuro, orthopedic surgery, and trauma patients Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The position requires the ability to monitor patients' vital signs and consciousness levels effectively.
