The Research Assistant will provide laboratory assistance directly to the Principal Investigator and the laboratory team, with some ability to work independently in carrying out multiple techniques, including -but not limited to- culture of established cancer and normal cell lines, primary tissue cultures, proteomics (western-blot, ELISA), DNA-RNA isolation/purification, PCR/RT-PCR, immunocytochemistry and immunohistochemistry for immune cells, cancer cells, cloning, working with biological specimens, providing assistance in mouse models. Associates degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology, social sciences, natural sciences, life, health care, or materials science directly related to the research area to which the position is assigned and a minimum of three years experience in a research or clinical area.
