Duties/Responsibilities:Provide leadership, mentorship, and shepherding to clients and family units during assigned shifts: reinforce structure, dignity, and clear expectationsSpend intentional time relationally engaged with clients: prioritize presence while maintaining accountability and structureParticipate in and coordinate mealtime and fellowship environments: model healthy interaction, reinforce community expectations, and demonstrate servant leadershipWelcome, orient, and support volunteers and interns: integrate them into chapel, meals, and daily routines with clarity and oversightTake ownership of shift operations including safety, cleanliness, task completion, and overall center flowAssist in managing real-time capacity and occupancy; ensure rooms and beds are utilized appropriately, census is accurate, and intake barriers are addressedProvide accurate, timely verbal and written observations of client behavior, needs, and incidents to leadershipMonitor and support hygiene, shower, and laundry routinesQualifications:City Union Mission Requirements:To be a genuine believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, as evidenced by your personal testimony and your ability to clearly communicate the Gospel whenever opportunities arise.
