Experience working with visual or performing arts programs and events, which may include classes, workshops, gallery programs, public art activities, artist programs, performances, concerts, film programs, exhibitions, community celebrations, or municipal arts programs is highly desirable. Under general supervision, provides leadership and functional direction to an arts program, activity, facility, or service; directs and/or leads the activities of a program, activity, or service; organizes and implements program elements and oversees participants, and performs related work as required.
