Under general supervision, guided by the policies and procedures of the Medical Center and Ambulatory Services, and in collaboration with the physician staff and administrative management, the Pediatric Neurology Nurse works independently to coordinate the clinical care for Pediatric Brain Center clinic patients. The Pediatric Neurology Nurse will utilize a high level of clinical knowledge to screen patient referrals, coordinate patient evaluations to ensure efficient patient care flow, provide patient education, and improve health literacy and adherence to the treatment plan.
