The role will provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle while supporting multiple VistA packages, including Admission, Discharge, Transfer (ADT), Patient Care Encounter (PCE), Automated Information Collection System (AICS), Record Tracking, and VistA Audit Solutions. This role will provide technical leadership for a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) initiative focused on reducing and ultimately eliminating the use of Social Security Numbers (SSNs) across critical VistA applications, workflows, reports, interfaces, audit records, and data-handling processes.
