The Lead Fabricator is a full-time teammate who can lead and assist team members to meet production goals with a focus on quality and safety, along with training and mentoring co-workers to become better fabricators and welders. The primary tasks to oversee consist of building machine frames and components out of structural steel and tearing down completed machines in preparation for painting and shipping.
Work Environment: The job is performed in the production area where the person will be exposed to strong aromas, airborne dust particles emanating from ingredients being used, and will be in the presence of or otherwise operating machinery. Every day the Operator will track the production schedule, follow batch sheet instructions to accurately and efficiently set up, weigh, measure, and mix raw materials in proper sequence. Next the Operator will add ingredients either manually or with pumps and meters, accurately record the required information on the batch sheet, and submit samples to QA.
