<div>The Facility Technician/ Warehouse/ Forklift for Cranston, RI will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. <p/><div><h3>Job Summary</h3><p>The Cabinet Carpenter is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing custom and production cabinetry in a wood shop environment. This role requires strong woodworking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work from drawings and specifications to produce high-quality finished products.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Construct custom and semi-custom cabinets, casework, and related millwork components</li><li>Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and cut lists</li><li>Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and sand wood and wood-based materials</li><li>Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools, including table saws, planers, routers, sanders, and CNC equipment (if applicable)</li><li>Apply finishes such as stains, sealers, and lacquers as required</li><li>Assemble cabinet boxes, doors, drawer boxes, and hardware</li><li>Maintain quality standards, ensuring accuracy, durability, and appearance of finished products</li><li>Follow shop safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area</li><li>Collaborate with shop supervisors, designers, and other carpenters to meet production schedules</li><li>Assist with material handling, inventory, and shop maintenance as needed</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship preferred</li><li>Proven experience in cabinet making or woodworking</li><li>Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and joinery methods</li><li>Ability to read and follow technical drawings and specifications</li><li>Proficiency with woodworking tools and equipment</li><li>Basic math and measurement skills</li><li>Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods</li></ul><h3>Skills and Competencies</h3><ul><li>Attention to detail and craftsmanship</li><li>Time management and ability to meet deadlines</li><li>Problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Commitment to safety and quality workmanship</li></ul><h3>Work Environment</h3><ul><li>Indoor wood shop environment with exposure to dust, noise, and machinery</li><li>Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required</li></ul></div><p/><p><em>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
