POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (APP) provides routine, low-acuity primary care and urgent care services, including but not limited to:- primary care exams- chronic condition management- sick visits- minor injury care- laceration repair- incision and drainage- ingrown toenail removal- routine outpatient procedures- annual physicals- employment physicals- vaccinationsThe APP sees an average of 15 to 20 patients per day and is supported by a medical assistant who helps with all visits, including charting and documentation.
