You will be able to work in a supportive small team atmosphere while also working as part of a larger organization that is a leader within the mental health care industry. The Triage Clinician works as a member of a multi-disciplinary team devoted to crisis intervention and stabilization. The Triage Clinician assists MCI clinicians by triaging cases to determine the most appropriate location for an intervention to occur, with priority for community-based, non-hospital locations. The master’s level Triage Clinician is an integral part of Community Behavioral Health Center’s Mobile Crisis Intervention program and collaborates with other MCI clinicians to provide crisis intervention services 7 days per week, 24 hours per day either on-site or mobile to any individual experiencing a mental health and/or substance abuse problem.Orientation to Mobile Crisis Intervention is provided, with particular attention to diagnosis, safety assessment and awareness of resources dependent on level of care.Clinical supervision is provided including licensure track hours for eligible employee. Riverside also offers an outstanding staff training program offering CEUsThe triage clinician will also be responsible for:<ul><li>Serves as the primary responder to all incoming calls to MCI, and using clinical and administrative judgment appropriately triages the call</li><li>Arranges for assessments to occur on site or in the community and organizes for transportation as needed</li><li>Secures placements in detox units, inpatient units and diversionary levels of care and coordinates the transfer of those served to these facilities</li><li>Assessing mental health and substance use presentations in order to more appropriately triage cases with a great deal of independence.</li><li>Able to work under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing office environment while collaborating and liaising with a variety of stakeholders and providers</li><li>Assists in providing telephonic support to individuals in crisis while also assessing the need for a clinical intervention.</li></ul>Schedule: Part Time, 20 hours<ul><li>Saturday/Sunday: 7am to 5pm</li></ul>Pay Rate:<ul><li>Unlicensed Clinician - $35.69/hr </li><li>Independent Licensure - $38.25/hr</li><li>Stacking differentials available too! The driver qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last 3 years.
