For machine dependent operations, selects, aligns and secures holding fixtures and/or cutting tools, attachments, accessories and material to machines (i.e. set-up machine) and starts and observes machine operation during first part production to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions. Customer service** - Understand and quickly respond to customer needs + **Near Vision** - See details at close range (within a few feet of the observer) **Technical Skills:** + Data base user interface and query software + Electronic mail software + Enterprise resource planning ERP software + Inventory management software + Spreadsheet software + Label making software + Materials requirements planning logistics and supply chain software **Work Environment:** + Manufacturing environment + Time Pressure + Operating a forklift, pallet jack and/or manlift operator + Standing for long periods of time + Lifting heavy (typically 30 lbs) items **Employment Eligibility Requirements** **:** + This role may involve access to items subject to U.S. export-controls laws or other applicable U.S.-government legal or contractual requirements. + Prepare and maintain records of items shipped (i.e. purchase orders, manual shippers, and work orders) + Perform daily cycle counts + Periodically rotate in RECEIVING for cross training + May drive a non-CDL box truck for deliveries + Other duties as assigned **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** **Education/Experience:** + High school diploma or GED required + Demonstrates familiarity of job duties (typically 1-2 years of direct experience in the essential functions of the position) **Competencies:** + **Comprehension** - Understand and apply information conveyed in written and oral methods + **Communication** - Communicate information and ideas, written and verbal, so others will understand + **Problem Sensitivity** - Tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
