The Manufacturing Engineer (New Product Information Focus) will be responsible for the successful transfer of manufacturable products from Design Engineering to Operations, ensuring the design is manufacturable and optimized, with all documents released, ERP fully updated (BOM, route and all item numbers used), manufacturing and test fixtures completed, costs reduced, time studies completed, and ensuring compliance of the product to all the customer's requirements. Qualified candidates would have the following: Knowledge of GD&T, tolerancing, materials, plating, laser welding, hermetic designs, stacking tolerances, component selection, PCB layout, SMT technology, different solder alloys, select-on-test components, etc.
