Specific duties include pre-visit planning, rooming patients, obtaining vitals, utilizing the EMR system, scanning and downloading of documents, assisting with in office procedures, administering injections, vaccine coordination, telephone screening (with protocols), phlebotomy, prior authorizations, work queue management, and duties as assigned based on respective clinic need. Requires comfort conducting independent home visits and strong preference given to candidates with geriatric or primary care experience, or experience in institutional settings of care such as long-term care/skilled nursing facilities.
