Supervises daily operations of the inpatient pharmacy department including, but not limited to, decentralized pharmacy services, human resource management (hiring, training, coaching/supervising, performance management, scheduling, etc.), application of technology, resource utilization, customer service, and patient medication safety. Manages all direct patient care services (inpatient pharmacy, emergency services, clinical programs, medication monitoring etc.), medication use guidelines, best-of-practice order sets, and other areas as assigned.
