The Clinical Dietitian collaborates closely with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated patient care, while also guiding and supporting clinical nutrition personnel, providing instruction to dietetic interns during clinical rotations, and adhering to applicable policies and procedures related to patient care, supplies, and equipment. Working as part of an interdisciplinary team consisting of Psychology, Adolescent Medicine, Psychiatry, Nursing, and Clinical Dietitians, the Clinical Dietitian provides comprehensive nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and ongoing monitoring of nutritional status, laboratory values, and treatment progress.
