Required Qualifications: Associate Degree (ASN, ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program; New York State RN License (verified by NYS Department of Education); AHA Basic Life Support (BLS); current certification in one of the following: Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN), Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON), Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN), Certified Wound Specialist (CWS), or Wound Care Certified Certification (WCC). - Additional Skills: Health assessment interview, wound care, ostomy, continence-related care, focused physical assessment, quality improvement, staff education programs, asset management, plan of care, patient response documentation, pressure injuries.
