Knowledge Skills, Abilities and Competencies: Knowledge of the access management requirements, the utility accommodations guide (2017 UAM), and the design, drainage and construction of these operations; skills in the use of inspection and assessment tools, equipment and/or instruments; knowledge of computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheet software, and electronic mail; ability to analyze and interpret construction plan data; ability to perform technical inspections from approved FDOT plans; ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments; ability to communicate information effectively; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; skills in speaking, negotiation and dealing with the public and contractors. Some tasks for the Permit Coordinator QC Manager may be performed remotely, being exposed to prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, while also working outdoors in extreme weather conditions, being exposed to a loud work environment with moderate to high noise levels, being in high places, drive, stand and walk for extended periods of time, frequently on uneven ground, while they must be able to lift up to, but not limited to, 50 lbs., bend, carry, climb, grasp, kneel, lift, pull, push, sit, squat, reach overhead, stand, and twist.
