Patient population may include CHF, dysrhythmia, chest pain workup, stroke, abdominal illness/infection, respiratory illness, diabetes, AKI/CKD, ETOH withdrawal, and IVDA, excluding mechanically ventilated patients. Skills required include trach care, cardiac drip management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, blood product administration, wound care/dressing changes, and central line management.
