Working closely with the dean, other vice deans, department chairs, organized research unit directors, chief administrative officers, and health system and central campus partners, the vice dean provides institution-wide stewardship of the school's resources, advises on major investments and trade-offs, and aligns the campus's and school's administrative capabilities with the school's research, education and clinical missions. Frequently partner with Campus leaders (e.g., senior vice chancellor for finance and admin, chief HR officer, chief information officer, AVC EVCP finance and admin) and Health leaders (e.g., EVP/chief clinical officer, SVP/chief financial officer, Faculty Practice president).
