Summary: The staff family medicine physician will see patients of all ages (0-99) to examine andtreat common acute illnesses, chronic illnesses and injuries; correctly diagnose disease and formulate treatment, as well as order appropriate laboratory tests and radiological studies; and refer to specialists as needed, write prescriptions and perform office procedures within the scope of expertise protocols and available equipment. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as milligram per kilogram dosages, ratios (for example urine-serum creatinine), discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
