Healthcare workers (HCW) are defined as university employees working a healthcare setting who have the potential for direct or indirect exposure to patients, human research subjects or infectious materials including body substance, contaminated medical supplies, devices and equipment, surfaces, or air. Beyond Yale Health, the Physician Informaticist will represent Yale Health in the broader Yale University, Yale School of Medicine, Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS), and Yale Medicine medical communities and Medical Information Officer (MIO) team, ensuring Yale Health's priorities are reflected in enterprise informatics, AI, and digital health strategy.
